Yesterday I stumbled over a YouTube Channel, Dandan the Fireman. Checking out his channel, I saw videos to help new/beginning riders. Looking at his videos, I didn't see a mention of Slatin MotoGear, surprising, since we both seem to be in Arizona and our gear is so focused on rider safety, in design, materials, and and construction. No matter how hard I looked, I couldn't find a contact email or phone number. Trying to fet his attention in a live video, I bombed out there, as well.
But in listening to him, I learned he was raising money for Foster Children. That got my attention. What a worthy and important focus, overlooked, perhaps now more than ever. With the economy in such lousy,shape for so many, charitable causes are in great need than ever. I dug out what was in my pocket, and donated it...and, as we go through these difficult times, let's remember those who have it more difficult than ourselves. So, my message is this; as we renember to support suffering businesses, lets remember those who need, realky need a meal, or shoes. Dig deep America and give generously.
