Hoodies are pretty popular, although ‘back in the day’, those were known as ‘sweatshirts’. Still, these are really comfortable, lighter in weight than a winter riding jacket, and just the thing for Fall and Spring. Let’s talk about turning these in good motorcycle gear. Aramid (generic kevlar) could be used in just the likely impact places; elbows, shoulders, back; but there’s no way to predict where it could be needed in case it’s really needed. So, these will be fully-lined with Aramid/Kevlar). So, these will be triple-layered. An exterior of fleece, an inner layer of Aramid/Kevlar, and a 3rd inner layer of fine mesh, against the body. Think of an Oreo cookie in which the Aramid layer is the cream filling. The Aramid has a very high heat resistance, (in addition to bullet-proofing, in other applications), so skin stays on the body, where it belongs. Finally, CE Level 1-Approved “Armor” over shoulders, elbows, forearms, and back. Quality materials and a quality zipper. Machine-washable, and it’s perfect for cool weather, for both men and women!
